Flowersoft Boy

Here's my second post for the day, another Flowersoft Image.....
You know what I completely forgot to say that I Flowersofted them didnt I?, well I did , if you look closely you can see it!
So I sat and coloured him in with my Promarkers.

This one is another reminder of those innocent days of childhood, I wasnt a fisher personally, never had the patience, but it's something that just screams "Yesterday" to me.
So boy fishing..........okay a fish backing paper from my huge pad of K&Co papers, but it needed a little bit more, so I misted it with a blue mica spray, and dried it with my heat gun, impatient I know, but hey if Sheena can do it so can I!! But I also had to use my Ribbon Iron (Okay they're Hair Straighteners, you caught me!) to Flatten the paper again.
Then I mounted it onto some pearlescent white card, and drew an edge around the main image with a Cobalt Blue promarker after I had chomped the corners off.
Mounted the image onto the backing paper, so next up was a sentiment. Into MCS, got a colour folder, and stretched it to cover half a piece of 4x6" photo card, then chose the John Handy font for the greeting. I didnt want it to be black, so another added feature of the MCS program is the ability to change lettering to what ever you want, so I thought Grey, to match the water and the ribbon I wanted to use. In MCS you get an outline on the text and an inside, so you can have contrasting colours for added Umpf, but I chose the same shade for both, and it worked out really nicely.
So I used the Spellbinders Ornate Artisan Die with my Happy Cut, and then arranged the ribbon on the card, and added the sentiment. The finishing touch were the gems, 3 small in the gap at the top of the crossed ribbons, and 3 large ones at the bottom.
Now the more observant of you may have noticed that my watermark has changed. And is now diagonally across the image. There is a reason for this, and I will say right here that it hasnt happened to me yet, to my knowledge, but there is/are some unscrupulous people out there, who are taking images from Blog pages, and presenting them as their own work in Challenges, which is a shame. I feel very sorry for the person/people doing this, as they obviously are not very confident in their own abilities. So I have taken steps, to protect my work by moving my watermark, across the image so that it cant be cropped out. This site is also Copyrighted, and is there for inspiration, not duplication. If you use one of my adaptions, then please let me know, so I can pop over and have a look, I am not saying dont use it, but I dont want a company taking credit for something I have done!

Anyway, enough ranting!

Hope you like it, have fun, xxx

This is lovely Lou - is this "moments in time" stamp? I have some Christmas ones and I just love them.
