Hi guys, well here's post one of 2 lol, in answer to a request I received, but most of you probably know how to do this anyway, xxx
Card and paper crafting keeps me sane! But this is now mainly a Vlog, due to Eyesight issues. Please feel free to use my designs for inspiration Purposes, but do not Directly copy, or pass my work off as your own. I would rather inspire, than be "flattered" by copying, xx

Awards.
Well this is a bit embarrassing!!
For those who think I have forgotten I haven't, just very embarrassed by it all.
Over the past few weeks I have been honoured with awards. I truly don't consider myself to be inspirational, that's why I trawl blog land to gain inspiration, yet I am totally bemused by the fact that people consider me to be inspirational in one form or another. As such it is hard for me to make the posts about rewards I receive, and I hope the givers realize that it is not ignorance, but having to drag the courage up from somewhere to actually post them that takes time.
so lets get the embarrassing bit over and done with!!

New digis revealed at SSS
Well have we got a treat in store for you..........
we have some fabulous new Digis released at Scrapbook Stamp Society.
Here are my versions, for 2 of the showcased digis:
Introducing Lil Cowgirl!
To me a Cowgirl is quintessentially American, so That was the theme for this card, but it obviously way too early to be thinking of the Independence or Thanksgiving Celebrations.
So a Holiday card!! I am sure there will be some one going on Holiday to America this year, so this would be an ideal Bon Voyage card.
What I used.
a 5x5" card blank, the Lil Cowgirl Digi Stamp, Promarkers, some Crystal Accents by Ranger, Sakura gel pens, and some strips of Red, and white paper, a small square of blue pearlised paper, and some punched out stars.
I made the insert using the digi in my favourite Graphics Program.
I laid the strips on a thin sheet of paper, and glued them in position, then added the blue, square, and for those Americans reading I know there arent the right number of stars! I am English! Would you know the right way to draw the Union Jack?. I bent and folded the stripes and stars sheet so that it forms a flapping flag, and glued it into position, before adding the digi to the front. The sentiment was cut using Spellbinders Labels 22.
This is Superhero Zell and her Walker digi.
This was quite hard for me to do, as I am sure you have guessed by now that I need an idea to spark me into action, but it only took 2 days before the idea appeared.
This one I have titled "The morning after the night before!"
I think this is how most teenagers/early 20's must feel the day after their birthdays! So I did this as a male themed birthday card.
I used:
Promarkers, scraps of Fabric, Blue Card stock, a Cheery Lynn Mega doily die, and a needle and thread. Insert was made using a backing sheet of digi paper, a frame punch and the digi stamp.
I like this idea, although I must admit, this one suited my hand sewing style down to the ground! Rough and ready lol, bit like the stitches on Superhero Zell! Give me a sewing machine and I am fine, but I wasnt getting it out just for doing the card, there isnt enough room in here!!
Right Blogger is playing silly devils again, so I will have to post this then try to edit it properly when it lets me back in, have fun guys and girls, xxx

Ok guys and girls, well It just so happens that Mothering Sunday (here in the UK) and my birthday both happen to fall on the same day this year....................Can you hear the kids groaning? I can, as it means I get a proper day of pressies, and pampering, ( sorry but you now have to imagine me doing a one legged hop while trying to do a Leane's Happy Dance).

The most stunning Image...SSS DT card
The Animal Kingdom is the Challenge over at The Scrapbook Stamp Society Blog, this week, and I chose a stunning image by Mitzi Sato-Wiuff.
This is a Stunning Piece of work, and is a LARGE image in itself, as it is so detailed. I printed it out just slightly smaller than A4, so you can now Gauge the size of the card.
Promarkers AGAIN, to the rescue, and I took my time over it, I did it in sections, and it took about 3 days to finish, but worth the time I think.
I didn't want to have an ordinary background to the image, as there is in reality, little chance of this image coming to pass, so I removed the blank areas, and mounted the image onto some Oil effect card.
Next I needed a frame...........so the question was then how to achieve the effect I wanted. So I borrowed an Idea from Wendy at Create and Craft, and created a sort of dropped shelf inside the card.
So now I have something to use as a frame, I just had to decorate it! I got out my Happy Cut, well in all honesty, I didnt get it out as such, I just picked it up from under the table lol, it doesn't weigh much more than a Cuttlebug, (which is always good when you are in danger of dislocating your wrists!) and some Spell Binders flower dies and cut through 8 layers of tissue paper in one pass. I then decided to add leaves, so collected 2 shades of Yellow, and 3 shades of green, and ran those through as well. I layered it all up and added them to the Frame. I used yellow gems for the inside of the flowers, and a gold Gel pen for the inside of the flowers on the main picture.
I used some Ranger Colour coredinations cardstock, and cut a small sliver which I embossed with the Cuttlebug Organic Flourish folder, and sanded it back, and fixed it to the front base of the card.
I LOVE this image its an absolute delight! and I love the card it has created!
Why dont you pop over to the Shop and have a nosey. There is likely to be images that you recognise in there, as these ladies and gents are well established artists who have designed for years, even doing Book artwork, and Galleries. Let me know which are your favourites, xx

Well My First Blog Hop! I have done a couple before, but haven't actually taken part in one as such before, so I'm all excited!!
So here's my offering:
This is using Fairy Mask by Marianne Mathiasen. The challenge and Hop for this week is "Shades of Green" in honour of St Patrick, so that was what I had to use!3 different shades of green card stock, 3 different shades of green glitter, green foil, green Mica powder and 7 shades of green Promarkers!!
Promarkers used: Tea Green, Fresh Meadow, Soft Green, Meadow Green, Lime Green, Forest Green, and finally Pine!
Well it was a challenge, but you know what for all that I like it, definitely a different version of Monochrome!!
I decided to use a twist on one of my favourite (well at the moment anyway) card bases. and instead of scoring the card to allow the main picture base to be framed by the outer edges, I turned it inside out, and made it so that it sits outside the outer edges as it were, so it seems a little bit more laid back than other versions!
I used the Cheery Lynn Royal Coved Rectangle DL192, die and used it to create a frame for the sides and base of the card, and the Spellbinders Lattice rectangles Die, extended slightly in my Happy cut, as a Matt for the main image. I used a green mica powder mixed with water for the background of the main Image. I foiled the flowers and hand drawn scrolls using a quickie glue pen and some foil from my foil-it machine. Various background flowers and dots were then glittered in the 3 shades of green glitter.
And there she is finished, and Fabulous in her green-ness!
There are no other hops I'm the end, so well done for getting this far!!
Now you need to pop Here to the Challenge Blog, and have a peek!
Here is the entire line up in case you got lost on the way or even started with me!!:

Stamp N doodle Tutorial and NEWS
Oh wow was this a different challenge for me in more ways than one!!!
Firstly Joyce came up with a wonderful embellie, which as I am not really into hand sewing, was a challenge in itself, then Making the card, and then.....................making a video on how to do the Embellie!!!
For the details and how to on the embellishment you do need to pop over Here, and hopefully take part in the NEW set up.
But first to my news, and BOY do I have some!! I was Honoured by Lynne at Stamp n Doodle, and asked to be the Tutorial Team Co-ordinator! Which is why I haven't really been posting as such, as there was quite a bit to sort, lol.
Firstly we wanted to expand the Tutorial Team a little bit, and we are delighted to announce that Stacie and Joyce have joined the Team.
Then Lynne and myself wanted to introduce video tutorials to help with the "how to" side of things, so I had to figure out how to do it, lol, then actually do some for practice! Nerve wracking!
Next up is that soon, as in very Imminent, there will be a Tutorial Team Challenge!! So check out the SND website for details!!
Anyway to the card and embellie for this fortnight...........
The Stamp is one of Lynne's designs Teegan, and is the Digi Stamp of the Month which means 25% off in the shop, and She is fabulous! Perfect for the Challenges this month, especially the current Challenge, Green and Gold on the DT page.
I used promarkers to colour Teegan, and her dog, I found a Shamrock clip art Freebie from Here, and popped it all over a backing paper from My Craft Studios A Taste of Spring CD. I cut an ornate matt using Cheery Lynn Royal Coved Rectangle Mega Doily DL192 from some light green card, and matted that onto some Dark green card, before mounting it onto some more of the Lighter green base card.
I used MCS to adjust the print off a green version of the backing paper, and took the colour of the Shamrock for the text colour, and cut it using Spellbinders Fancy tags 3.
Then the embellishment.......... the whole point of the card really, which is bottom Right corner, so pop to The Tutorial Page for how to create Joyce's wonderful embellishment! And the video! The sound's a bit out of sync, but I refuse to do it AGAIN! The number I have had to throw away due to poking myself with the needle, and swearing! And Blood everywhere! Dogs Barking, Phone ringing, Kids barging in....you get the idea!!
so why not have a go for yourself, there's all sorts of Challenges going on including a never ending stamp!!!

Pretty in Pastels Challenge
Morning!
Hope everyone having a good day, I am being a bit busy with posts today, as all my DT work seems to be due today, lol
This post is for the Paper Crafting Journey Challenge................Pretty in Pastels Challenge.
This time we were given a couple of images to choose from from the very talented Kenny K ,
and the image I decided Finally, after much indecision was ..............It wasnt me! Digi.
So okay, "It wasnt me", from a kid, now is the kid telling the truth or are they trying to wriggle out of trouble? Can you tell I'm a Mum? lol. So I decided that actually, for once, this kid was telling the truth, which left me with............ Okay whats she telling the truth about?
So off I trot......... Hmmn, front room, to use pastel colours, in the wallpaper, and puppy in trouble? Okay, so why's the puppy in trouble instead of the girl? Hmmn. White carpet and paint!!
This card is a real amalgamation of digital, and physical crafting. Digital Image, Paper pack, paper piecing, stamping, die cutting and distressing! Oh and a tin can!!
I used 3 papers from a freebie pack of 6x6" papers, by Pink Petticoat, Wild Blossom Collection, for the wallpaper, the Puppy and Paw print Stamps are by Personal Impressions, with Big and Juicy Happy Birthday pad, and Dovecraft Cocoa Brown Pigment ink on supersmooth paper.
These I mounted onto my Base card with DST.
I used some scraps, (YES!! I used some scraps, Wey Hey!) for the paint tins, and Lampshade. Promarkers for the paint. And a Piece of loose brown patterned paper for the lampshade base.
I used a tin can to die cut the mirror, and some paper for the sentiment. Dies used: Spellbinders Lacey Ovals, and Labels 20. The sentiment was distressed with Tim Holtz's Milled Lavender Distress ink, and I added a lilac ribbon.
The Image itself was coloured using Promarkers, Blue Pearl, Cornflower, Orchid, Purple, Almond, Indigo Blue, Sun Kissed pink, Ginger Pumpkin, Raw Sienna, and Dusky Rose.
A bit busier than my normal card but I like it, and think its a lovely bit of fun, do pop by the Paper Crafting Journey Blog and see what the rest of my Teamies have come up with, there's some stunners in there, and have a go yourself at the Pretty In Pastels challenge,

Oh I did a Video!!!
Oh dear me well that was a bit stress full!!
I have had questions about my Happy Cut machine, and making video's is something I have been thinking about for a while to do with DT work, and my own creations, so today I took the plunge and did my first you-tube video!
Now how do I get you lot to view it, and how to set up a new page with links to videos I will do in the future?
Happy Cut and Plates Video. Its the first of a series on the Happy cut, but it might be a bit on the quiet side, so please turn the volume up!! For some reason I cant get the sound to go any louder, as my PC has assigned it to Skype and wont let me change it around!!
Please let me know what you think, as I am really nervous now!!

Another Debbees CD's Creation
Well I said I was dong another card from the same set of papers provided free as Part of the Debbees CD's monthly Challenge, which you can find Here. And Here it is.............
A Tripple fold card. For this I used the Topper, with no decoupage, one of the backing Papers, and the insert.
I printed the Topper off 3 times, and one and a half sheets of the Backing paper, then I took a sheet of A3 card, and slit it in half along its length.
I mounted the backing sheet on first at the rear, so I had a line to score on, then added the topper. After I had scored the line, I then folded it over and trimmed to fit the design along the top of the Fans.
Again I matted and Layered the Topper and backing sheet, but the Topper was trimmed to expose the rear design.I had to extend the card at this point, using the piece of card I had originally discarded.
Then I scored and folded it back to create the Trifold.
Again I Trimmed it to shape around the smaller Fan, then added some cosmic shimmer Silver Pearlised Glue to the hinge point of each fan. Instead of cutting slits and using Ribbon, I used a platinum Mica with a waterbrush and filled the ribbon area's in
The Sentiment was stamped using a versa mark ink pad, and some steely Blue Glittered embossing powder. Then I trimmed it to shape, and used the Cornflower promarker, to flood the edges, then went round again very lightly with the Cool Grey 4 Promarker.
I really Like the effect this has created, and it all ties in nicely together. The insert is fixed to the back, and for once for me , this is a complete card!
Hope you like it too, but please pop over to Debs page and get the papers for yourself, you never know you might win a CD of your choice like I did!!
Hugs to all

Crafts U print
Another of the cards I printed off, from my collection of Crafts U Print designs. I Flatly refuse to go rummaging around on the website which can take hours!!
Crafts u Print come in very handy when Mojo is being lazy , and I had half prepared this the other night before I got distracted.
They are simply Print and cut files, then add a bit of your own style to finish it off.
On this Card, I have added some purple pearls to the butterflies body, and some purple Flourishes from Spellbinders Twisted Metal Tags and Accents, and that's all a quick simple card that looks very effective,

March's Debbees CD Challenge
Well I downloaded these sheets from Debbees Site a few Days ago, and have done one of my ideas, and am working on the second.
Deb provides all you need for each challenge, you just decide how to use it!! Its a little know site, but if you have been to any of the big craft shows in the UK, you will probably have seen Deb without realising it. Recall a Bee wandering round the shows? Well That's Deb a wonderfully creative lady.
Here's the first of two cards I have made with her free download challenge for this month.......
I used 3 of the papers, and matted them one on top of the other, then I used the insert and adjusted it in My Craft studio, so I had a circular central image as opposed to the oval, Deb had provided.
I printed the fans off separately, on photo paper, and then decoupaged them over the circular centre.
I used a Spellbinders Holly Motif die for the sentiment, and stamped and distressed it with Tim Holtz's Milled Lavender Distress Ink. Then I cut the Border off so I was left with the central panel.
I added some purple gems to the corners of various layers, and the fans, and used some purple Brads and Ribbon on opposite ends of the panel.
I really do like the way this has turned out, and hope you do too.
Hugs, xx

this award to keep the circle forever growing.
I feel very honoured that some people view me and my Blog in this way, Kenzie, I am humbled hun, xx
But I do know a few People who should receive this award:
Firstly it has to Be My FG, (Fairy Godmother), who actually does exist, bless her, she gets a hard time on here because of me, and I joke about her size, being 130 etc, when really she's not. She is a wonderful Kind lady, who is a source of honest Critique, fun, creative, motivating, helpful, supportive inspiration.
FG doesnt have a Blog, but she does pop by occasionally, and is the first person I though of when I read the rules for this award, even though she doesnt have a Blog, she is an Angel, and is thoroughly deserving of this award. After all I wouldnt be in Blog land if it wasnt for her encouragement. BUT she doesnt fit the criteria, However, I am reserving first place for her, for when I can FINALLY persuade her to Blog! XX Ta FG, XX.
There are 3 specific People in addition that deserve this award:
Linda Simpson http://lindasimpsoncraftypieceofheaven.blogspot.com, For her advice, and kindness, and suggestions.
Sheenagh Hulin, http://signaturecardsbysheenagh.blogspot.com/ an All round Good Egg, who's Talent I admire Greatly.
and Heather Valentin http://purimagination.blogspot.com/ the MOST talented person it has ever been my privilege to work with.
All three ladies are a constant source of Inspiration and encouragement, and I treasure each and every comment made by them, xxx Thank you Ladies, XXX
