Okay good start Caps lock on at the wrong time!!!
so to the crux of the matter, and Voyeurism abounds.........if you have no idea what I am on about, then you need to journey over to the mistress, of all desks, Mistress Julia's, and tell her all about it!!
My desk.............. my abiding shame is that generally I manage to take a pick of my desk when its an absolute disgrace, and people rarely believe that I ever tidy up, I do Honest, just not on a Tuesday night, when I'm in full creative flow!!
Okay, I have made 5 1/2 cards today, and am still busy, mostly FG's fault I must admit!! FG= Fairy Godmother, tiny little old lady bent double with age, no teeth, cant see, think I'd better stop now before she hits me , or goes off in a huff!
One card I just wanted to throw away, as I was so disgusted in it, however FG was adamant that it wasnt that bad, so I sent her a pic, It was that bad, and she made me take it to bits and re do it, so that was one and a half cards, the other 4 I am pleased with and I will Blog them later on, but for now to the desk..........
My experiments with my newest toy...........FLITTER!!! by Indigo Blu, its yummy!!!
a new 1 1/2 " cirle punch, glitter station, glue gun, heat gun, the remnants of the card FG made me re-do, some toppers I was playing with earlier, a tub of NO NOT ICECREAM!!! its Skeleton leaves actually!!! and the bane of my life, my scraps box, or leaning tower of Pizza. I have moved it in an attempt to start using instead of dumping, I know I know, I'll get to it, but a girl needs to play you know!!
so my shame and my triumph!!
This MONSTROSITY!!!! turned into ..........................
This!!
right enjoy you trip down Inspiration lane and pop back soon, Y'all Have a Gud Day now!! xx
Card and paper crafting keeps me sane! But this is now mainly a Vlog, due to Eyesight issues. Please feel free to use my designs for inspiration Purposes, but do not Directly copy, or pass my work off as your own. I would rather inspire, than be "flattered" by copying, xx

WOYWW 134
oh dear I am so bleary eyed that posting is difficult...........well its Wednesday, the day to peer into others desks and get some inspiration!! And if you need to find out what I am on about then you need to pop to the lovely Miss Julia Mistress of Workdesks at the Stamping ground.........
So whats on my work desk...........
Big Fat 0, Nothign , diddly squat, but dont expect it to look like this next week!! Its tidy!!, so other than being clear what can we see................a card I made for a challenge last night, see post below for details, my heat gun, and glue gun, tub of scissors, tub of Mica Powders, Glitter station, some Tags I intend using today, a paper pack that's the start of my goodie collection for a blog Candy I am going to start when I reach 50 followers , an empty tub of Pringle's, waiting for decoration, My Silhouette, some Spellbinders Covers to join my every growing collection...........
I find it easier this way, as I can always see them, and decide what ones I want to use, but I'm blowed if I can get them to stick properly in here!! So some are missing, waiting to be stuck again!! Any way back to whats on the workdesk..........Variety of tubs, a tin of Chocolate wafer sticks, that I am working my way through, and just at the end, my guilty secret..... my Scraps tub!! The pile is growing ever bigger, needs sorting, and using, and thats one of the things I am committed to doing this year, keeping it under control........... No Di, I didnt mean my desk, I mean the Scraps pile!! so all in all pretty boring.......
But it being January sales and all I have managed to snag a few bargains. So I have been a good girl, and not spent too much, but there is more to come, quite a bit more actually...oops! but they were cheap, so some Kanban Stamps, loads of Papermania Enchanted Christmas, and Midnight Fairy Tale kits, well parts of both, as I am waiting for bits of both kits to arrive, an embossing folder, and a couple of Marianne stencils, which are hidden from view.
The Enchanted / Fairy Tale range is an absolute stunner, and how it passed me by I have no idea, but I have found it now, and am on the way to collecting the full set!! See the Holly Fairy card for one of the stamps, she is beautiful!! And the Stamps are large images as well, A5 in height, and the Holly fairy is very wide, due to her skirt, so impressed is I!
Also for those of you eagle eyed out there you can see my treasure, a Particraft Stamp sheet........... So who can tell me who I won the sheet off? It was a Comment Challenge, and I won!!!!! I was so impressed, and also I am glad I manage to make her Laugh! But there's no prize today for getting the answer right, as I need to start collecting candy, for my eventual Blog Candy.
Happy WOYWW to all, and have a good week, I do try to get round every one, but it does take me some time!!

The final WOYWW of the year....
OH Dear this means that it really is the end...........of the year. Its time for the big reveal of my workdesk, as per Lady Julias instructions, and its still a mess!
If you are a crafting Voyeur, like myself and many others, and love to have a nosey at what others are doing, wether they are as messy as you, or just to gain inspiration, then you need to head over to the Stamping Ground, and leave your link, then hop along as many desks as you can squeeze in.......that can take a lot of time, as its all so interesting!!
so Off we go....
Ouch!! Now see I did think about tidying it all back up again, but got distracted by things I found, and thought off!
So lets see what have we got, top Left the card board box that is my spray booth, my little bathroom cabinet which houses my Distress inks, the blue boxes hold a variety of sequins, syringes, gems, My Clear case of every day stamps, which I was cataloging before I got distracted, my Ottlite, my metal tin of odd pens, my Glitter station is far left near the bottom, some tissue paper I rescued from my helpful NOT pup, some images I was colouring in, my heatgun, and a finished project thats now completely dry so It can be put away for next Christmas ( see previous post). On the window sill are some baskets holding my Alcohol inks, and sticky pads. Under my table you can just see a big black box which is my laser printer, my Hougie, my tray of stamping blocks, and Brayer, and various tubs that hold a few of my treasures.
And here's my colouring in!!
Four of the images are from Flowersoft, and one is from Lili of the valley, there is a stack which you can just see waiting for colouring. I was not able to colour in as a child, but I reckon that anyone given some promarkers can achieve the desired result, may be I will start a campaign to get only promarkers used in school!! Just need to add to my colours!! Now that is going to be expensive!!
Right apparantly I am heading to SiL's today to see MiL for our yearly Christmas get together! so I had better hurry up an post!!
Hope Everyone of you has a lovely, but safe New Year celebration, and that next year is better than this one for all of us, xxx
Take care, and thanks for popping by, xxx

Well I dont know if WOYWW is running........
........as I hope to be able to check first thing in the morning, but it depends if I oversleep before dashing up to eldests and grandsons on the pressie run, so this will be scheduled for tomorrow (Wednesday) Morning just in case. (and it is Thank you Julia, If you have no idea what WOYWW is then go HERE and all will be revealed)
Well a certain Hubby had better tread lightly at the moment..........Inspired by one of the Demo's on C&C today by the lovely Jodie, I dashed downstairs bits of glued paper in hand to show off. I was expecting praise? Bah humbug!! No I didnt get praise, or comments of "Thats lovely Babe, what is it?" which would have been acceptable, no I got ........
"Well its a bit plain! Cant you do it in some pretty papers?"..................................
Impressed eh?
NOT!!!!!!
For all my sore fingers, that is the response!
Here is the unoffending object.........
PLAAAIIIN!! Sorry Lady Gwendolen came out to play then (For those not in the know, The importance of being Ernest. Google it, get the book and read the play, then watch the film, then you will understand).
This was demonstrated in parts today by Jodie, of Tonic fame, who was demo'ing on C&C today for My Craft Studio.
This is the 3D Flower from My Craft Studio Advance Encyclopedia, Volume 3. It takes 5 folded petals per flower, and 12 Flowers in total, so a lot of paper folding went on today!!
I did it out of plain white supersmooth 180gsm decoupage paper, as it holds its shape really well, all in 3x3" squares, 60 in total for this little decoration, actually its not that little 4.5 Inches in diameter, and quite hefty really. Folded as per instructions, and glued, then each flower was glued together with My Craft Studio Everyday papercrafting Glue, as it bonds the fibers of the paper together very quickly, and I can let go without having to peg every fold!!
I sprayed it with Crafters Companion Stick and Stay aerosol glue, then quickly and liberally applied MCS Ultra fine Glitter all over it. Then I rolled it in the glitter to ensure that it was well and truly glittered! Nothing like going over the top, eh?
Some 7mm clear Gems over the remaining center holes of the Flowers, some white stripped Organza ribbon, and some large gold and amber beads from an old Christmas decoration ( Actually the decoration wasnt even in such a condition that I was going to throw it out, but I didnt have any beads big enough, and this particular set of beads had joined its brother on the one remaining Storm Lantern we have, the 10wk old Rottie (as was) and the 15yr old Border Collie had broken the other one. Not the kids or the Grandson, no a blooming Pup and a bad tempered old Madam!)
I know I know, note to self, New Years resolution.......get a decent camera and tripod and learn how to take a half decent photo will you?
Right although I started my cards MONTHS ago, I now need to rummage through my card box, find 4 cards, eldest, her boyfriend, her ex-boyfriend and Grandson all need cards for 9 am Tomorrow Morning. I need to unpack and repack my Fairy Godmothers box again, to get the decoration in it, and hope and pray I can get it delivered to her for Christmas Eve, as she can NOT not open a pressie before its due date, gggrrr!! Oh and make an Envelope on my New Enveloplus board that arrived today, yippee, now I can make a proper envelope to fit Dad's Christmas Card, and I must sent off that parcel of cards as well!! Oh dear serves me right I knew I should have started everything BEFORE JUNE!!
I did ask a certain some one if I could post a pic of the card she made for me for Christmas, Linda of http://lindasimpsoncraftypieceofheaven.blogspot.com/ step forward and take a bow please.
This is an amazing lady who has managed to get herself on quite a few DT's of late, Well done hunni, xxx
And last but not least........I would like to introduce you all to My FG! A lady who considers herself to be a "trier" but in her own opinion doesnt achieve the high standards she would like to achieve. Personally, I would beg to differ, but I am biased, as she is My FG (Sorry Fairy Godmother). Here is her offering for this Christmas, apparently card number 5 that she made, and had to stop prevaricating, as I wouldnt get a Christmas Card other wise.........
I would appreciate your comments on these cards, but especially on FG's so that when she gets back online on 28th Dec, (only 7 more days, but who's counting?) she can see what people other than me think of her creations. She has done the verse herself, apart from the Quote from Patience Strong, and I think she is quite amazing , xxx FG and dont be cross with me, as you are better than you think you are hun, xxx after all it's your fault I Blog!!
Right off to rummage for cards, make the envelope and re-pack the parcels............. Merry Christmas everyone, xxx

WOYWW
Hi all,
well I am back nearly to normal having had a bit of a disaster with my back, hence I didn't manage to post at all for about 10 days! Sorry this is a bit photo heavy, as I haven't posted for a while.
So Whats on my Work desk? ( if you have no idea what I am on about, then please hop along to Julias Page, Here and all will become as clear as muck lol)
I have finally managed to pluck up enough courage to attack my Hunky Dory collection! That's what! Boy did that take some doing!!! So on display are all Hunky Dory... Rockin Snow globes, now I have found the domes I can finish these, and umpteen Toppers and card ribbons just waiting to be made into cards. I did the easy ones first, lol, now I am having to get creative, yippee!! I did have a very large green toy box full of Hunky Dory Christmas,
now all that is left is the Foiled card stock, and the backing papers!! And a couple of Packs I am saving as emergency stash, just in case I need to produce a Christmas card toot suite!
Oh Dear! You can see the state of my carpet! All those little white backing squares from the foam pads, the backing from the double sided sticky tape, and various slivers of off cuts! What a mess!! In my defence the larger bits are from my non recycle-able bin, which my Rottwieller pup likes to raid for bits to chew on, little blighter!!
So what was in the green box, is slowly becoming stuff like this:

This is possibly, a new style of card, as I haven't seen it anywhere else. It just came to me as I was making the card up, this is the front cover....
And this is the inside, or card proper. I apologise for the glare, but its the new light. This is just one of the kits from Hunky Dory Christmas Contemporary selection.
This is from their traditional range.
And this next one has cheap wired silver ribbon, promarkered with Indigo Blue. And I used the Large Spellbinders Lace Doily motif die on the Hunky Dory Blue foiled card stock to create the mat.
All of these are using the matching Toppers and Backing papers card stock from Hunky Dory. The card stock from hunky Dory tends to be in the region of 350gsm, and the papers are generally 180gsm, so good weights for working with.
This one is a full A4 sized backing paper, backed onto some 300 gsm Silk Art Card. And very heavy on Yellow Gem Stars from my stash, nearly ran out!!
This one is using the Classic Bracket edgebilities Die from Spell Binders with the Hunky Dory Backing paper, and some green card stock from my stash.
And this one used the Go Kreate frame Frilly 10 XXL die, and my faithful Papermania snowfall embossing folder
Hunky Dorys Acetate cards on their snowfall foiled acetate.
And finally one of the Small Toppers on their pre cut card base.
But as I was playing with the edegebilities on my Happy Cut today, and making a right mess of it I must say, my youngest asked if I would help him make a card for a friend of his who is ill. So he decided that Flowers, mums thrown away piece of card, a 6x6 backing paper, some cream ribbon, and some butterflies, were what he wanted to use, but how to get it all together? The problem is that at the moment I have Christmas stock only out to play with, so his choices were limited.
In the end this is what I managed to concoct for him using his selections.
Mums thrown away Pearlised 350 gsm card, where she messed up with the edgebilities, some flowers just arrived from the Glitter Girls Flower keepsake assorted and Ruby Crush boxes, Some My Craft Studio Crystal Illusions Butterflies, 3 cheap ball headed pins (3 wheels for £1 from Poundland), and some paper and ribbon from my stash. Yes I know the Butterfly Topper is wonky, but that's the way he wanted it lol.
But while I have been lying down, getting very bored I haven't been entirely lazy, heres the 3 remaining paper folded decorations, unfortunately the Rottie pup ran off with one while I wasn't paying attention!!
They all have 2 things in common............. 1. They are all from squares of paper folded into well squares obviously, using 16 smaller squares to reduce the size by half, so a 12x12 becomes a 6x6 when its finished. as demonstrated by Mel Heaton, on C&C. and 2. They all use some of the Glittered Letters that were in my goody bag from Samuel Taylors.
The first one, has small pictures from the Classic Christmas CD's by My Craft Studio, the second, is using some 6x6 papers from my stash, with the Iron Works star die, and the Snowflake pendant dies, from Spell Binders, and some die cuts from my stash, also some lettering and shadow mats cut on the Craft Robo/Silhouette SD, ( Mines a weird one as it was manufactured during the re-branding, so its the Silhouette SD machine, but has the Craft Robo logo, lol) and the third using the Large Lace doily motif die and the Large Holly Motif die.
The one the Rottie ran off with was Peace, which isn't what he got when I found out what he was chewing on!!!
Right off to see if I can get on the list early this time lol

WOYWW
Well Its Wednesday again, that means its time for WOYWW if you have no idea what I am talking about then you need to pop over to Julia Dunnits Stamping ground. Julias Blog
So Whats on the desk........... Cup of coffee most important at this moment in time as I am just waking up.........My "Tool Box" of glitters that have been heavily used especially on the boxes in the post under this one........The One card that I have made that I cant find an envelope for, there's always one, so guess who's going to have to make one , sigh! The green card is actually a failed attempt to make Christmas tree shaped cards using the Pinflair Steppers, I'll have another go later, and also my failed attempt at making the one shaped card I did manage to do de-bossed using the Papermania Christmas tree embossing folder. I was having a bad day yesterday, could I figure out how to get the de-bossed side on the front of the card? No, but walked away had a cup of coffee and the thought "DOH!"
My Dabbers arrive from Joanna Sheen, that was quick as always, so I have been finishing those little snowflake boxes off. There's DS tape, glues, and some new stamps from Joanna Sheen on the right hand side of the pictureand some die cuts that need to be put away, as I was using up the scraps, as I made them, which is a first for me lol.
Heres the previously white boxes I was making, on the Silhouette SD.
except now they are gold! I had some gold spray paint in my sprays box, and its done a nice job of stiffening the card. Then I used Crafters Companion spray and sparkle for some twinkle, and inside they now have acetate coloured using the Tim Holtz Adirondak Alcohol inks, just ready for some ribbon!
Quite a tidy desk desk for me this week lol
Happy WOYWW everyone

Whats On Your Workdesk Wednesday
Ok a quick Post, as I have to go and pick the Youngest up in 30 minutes.........yeah right this will take me an hour!!
So Whats on my work desk.................My stash of scraps, you know those bits of paper and card that will always come in handy.........yep thats right that huge pile that normally sits in a couple of boxes, that one!
I decided that I really needed to get to grips with it, and instead of just adding to it, actually USE them!!! Still figuring out what to use them on, but I did also find some of last years Christmas cards that we recieved, you know the, sorry going to swear here, Shop Bought Cards, I appologise, harsh words for innocent ears!
so heres what I made with 3 of the toppers I rescued from them.
A wall decoration! I really am not the worlds best photographer!! I need a tripod, a light thingie all of it!!
So On my work desk is the next project, same again this time with Gold images, my mica powders and paints, my oh so creative and decorative storage solutions (video cases, Yogurt Pots and Butter tubs), and most important of all, The Coffee cup!!
It may not look organised, but it is. Organised Chaos!!
Wish I was Linda, who has it all nice and tidy!! If you have no idea what I'm going on about, then pop over to Julies page, for a list of craft rooms you can nosey in.
Sheer heaven!
