A Hint......

Hi guys I have been really quiet havent I?

well here's a hint of why I have been so quiet..........................

".............................Optional software:

Svg viewer: These can be now be viewed without opening the files using a plug-in program: SVG Viewer gnu. Available here  as a free application, which makes life a lot easier for those who have lots of svgs! Once installed you will be able to see the svgs on your computer as actual images, instead of a blank piece of paper. Change the view for the folders to medium icons to see the images.

What is this “Make the Cut” program?
Make the Cut is a software program which currently allows you to cut with all these machines :
Works with all Klic-N-Kut™ models
Works with the Pazzles Inspiration™
Works with BossKut Gazelle™
Works with Black Cat Cougar/Lynx™ series
Works with USCutter™ MH/LaserPoint series
Works with CraftWell's eCraft™
Works with Silhouette SD™ and Cameo™ including Print and Cut!
Supports HPGL machines with printer support (Craft ROBO™, Wishblade™, etc)

Although it is a software program you pay separately for its worth considering if you are upgrading to a new or different machine. It is able to use almost all of the current file systems even if it wasn’t in a format designed for that specific machine, example: You had a Craft Robo and now you have upgraded to an E-craft and want to cut your favourite Graphtec GSD file on the E-craft ( The E-craft uses SVG files and other than using Make the Cut, you wont be able to cut a GSD file without first converting it to an SVG).
The only files it cannot convert are the .studio files, .crw files for the E-craft, and Provocraft's own files systems.
You can take a picture (.jpeg or .pdf), and you will be able to import the picture into MTC and convert it to a file it will cut with.

Using Make the Cut expands the library of available images you can work with, and worth is considering as there are a multitude of free cutting files available via the internet. In addition you can run two or more different machines and access all file formats, and cut from one base software program instead of having to switch from one program to the other, so you CAN cut your GSD file from your A4 Craft Robo on the E-craft at 12x12” without phaffing around having to convert it!

In practice those who are familiar with the Silhouette studio, and Craft Robo programs will find it very similar, while those who have the E-craft will find that there is a lot more that they can do and expand the use of their machine.
Make the Cut can be downloaded as a free trial, here. This does not commit you to buying the program. It will allow you to play and import files, however if you try to cut using the unregistered version it will cut a big X across your design. It is intended to let you try before you buy, so you have an idea of what to expect.
If you wish to go ahead and purchase the program please use this link

mmmn intriquing!

Morning guys and girls

Well today is another day of show and tell for me, and as I know I am soon to be interupted by Daughter and Grand daughter, this has to be quick.
Today you get all my samples in one go, from what I sincerely believe to be the BEST disk Kraftyhands have ever produced! And I dont say that lightly!
I didnt have much time to work on it, it was a bit of a rush job, and I had to take these photo's on my phone, as I was quickly throwing them in the box for posting, so they arent the best photo's by any stretch of the imagination.

But You can see them in proper lighting today at 1pm and 6pm on Create and Craft! So remember to tune in for a look-see and to grab your copy of the Gorgeous Kew disk!

wow a post from Me

well this is unusal isnt it? lol
In all honesty I am being really creative, but the proceeds of my creativity are supposed to be being photographer by darling Daughter, as she bags and envelopes the cards, lol, Yep, she hasnt done the photo's yet!
so in the meantime, here's a card I created using some of the card kits from the last Krafty Hands show on Create and Craft:
apologies, but the camera batteries are on charge, sigh, so this was taken on my mobile, sigh!
This is using a topper and sheet of backing card from the Vintage kit, some Ivory ribbon, and 3 pins, mounted on Kraft card, and with 3 Cosmic shimmer Pearls to finish, quick, simple, and lovely!

Hope you will tune in to create and Craft next week on Tuesday to catch the new CD, its an absolute corker! Its the best one the boys have done yet, and then you'll see why I'm not posting much at the moment, lol

hugs to all who pop by, xxx

Krafty Hands Challenge

Hi guys

well I know I havent posted much, I am waiting for my darling daughter to get snap happy, as she has what I have been working on, quietly, but you want to see this months card for Krafty Hands dont you? So here you go:

Now this is from one of the older cds by Krafty Hands, this is from the Mary Englebright collection. Its a beautiful cd of old fashioned images, very 50's / 60's to my mind, reminds me of the Peter and Jane books, lol
So this is an 8x8 base card, matching backing paper from the cd, matted onto some pink card stock, for some reason the colour in the photo is more Salmony pink, than the pink pink of reality!
I got some wide reals of lace from Hobby Craft awhile ago, and to fit this months challenge, I had to use a sketch, so out came a roll of white lace, glued and glittered and cut to points and mounted behind the main image, which again was matted onto a backing paper and then the pink card.
The main image was treated with some glitter and crystal accents on the handbag, and a hole punched for the ribbon on the tag.
Finally I made a rossette with some more backing paper, added the pearls and job done,

Honestly it isnt really this salmon pink! Its a nice Pink!

so to win a voucher to spend on the Krafty Hands webshop, you need to firstly follow the main challenge blog, secondly enter the blog challenge, which you can find on the main page, and use a Krafty Hands Product! Now I happen to know that there are thousands of you out there who have Krafty Hands CD's, so whats stopping you from having a go?

Hugs

Lou
