Blooming Blogger,

I know I wrote this post but when I pressed the button it Vanished! Not saved as a draft not scheduled NOWT! gggrr, so here's the short and sewwt version,as the last one was longwinded and detailed, well sorry guys, not sitting here for another 2 hrs re-writting it!
For those of you who havent signed up to Stephs blog over at Wordpress, might not realise what tonights QVC TSV is...........
well I suggest you pop over, read whats going on, then log into Crafting.co.uk, and download your free kit, and get ready to play along. Kick off at 12am, GMT, to night!!

Right short and sweet version, little speil, loads of cards, which hopefully will speak for themselves...........

Wey Hey! I actually did one as the kit intended!!
On a Roll and another, although I did trim one side, so that I wasnt a flat side, but shaped like the other!
The flowers are punched from the scrap card left from pushing the die cuts out, with a Tonic Punch!
This Frame isnt supposed to go with this topper but it does!
Two of the oval toppers, scored and folded to form a dimensional image in the middle of the Aperture.
Oh! Another one I didnt fiddle with!
this ones a spinner in the oval aperture.
This one has a cog mask embossed onto textured silver card, then cut out, and Daubed with Ranger Alcohol inks, behind the topper. this is a very Small card, being the rear panel of the Stepper card, form a previous post, lol
K-card, but I added the sentiment to the top Left corner, as sometimes K-cards can slip.
Stepper card base, with the back removed, and turned sideways .
Small left over topper,  Matted onto a traced shape, and mounted onto a vellum overlay

I like these ones, so very clever!
Made from the rubbish left over from pushing the toppers out, for the Nature 3 oval hanging topper card, some old owl patterned paper behind the apertures,  mounted onto some lime green Pearlescent card.
Again the vellum, old from my stash, and the left over outside of the frame from the die cut sheet, mounted over an old topper, with a couple of owls in the tree branches, lol

Now these are all eviction cards:

Right I'm off to doze before the TSV shows start, hope you like what I did, and hope I have inspired you to get the kit, and do something with it for yourselves?

Hugs, Lou

More MCS sneak peeks.....

....hope I dont post ones I have already done, lol.
So bearing in mind that these are kits, here is the Antique Window aperture card kit, by MCS, which you will be able to get from QVC on Tuesday, as part of the TSV shows.
The one I have shown before was the Nature range, where I removed the foiled frame from the topper and placed it on the outside of the card. This time, I made a feature of the window aperture by using one of the Diecut Birdcages, from a Previous Kit by MCS, Quintessential Country Carden. The Paperstash Kits are very good quality Card bases, and take rough handling with ease, so the Bird Cage was distressed with Chipped Sapphire, and a Touch of Black Soot, to darken it. Then took spme Navy organza Ribbon and made a double bow, then heated it with the heat gun to crinkle it. Acetate was placed behind the window with thin DST.
Inside the card I used some coredinations cardstock, and embossed it using a Touch of Mica Mask. Then sanded it back, and distressed it with the same mix of distress ink I had used on the frame. The coredinations was trimmed to fit, then mounted on some Gold Mirri, as that is the colour of the foiling on the topper, which was mounted on the card base with some foam pads. then I re-enforced the pre scored fold lines on the card base,  as it is scored with a spine, to allow dimension within the aperture.
So another card I like, lol, I was going to give this to my Dad, lol, as he's quite a fan of books like the Difference Engine by William Gibson and Bruce Sterling, one of the few Steam Punk books I know of, but then he is a Fan of both Technology, and Steam, Having hand-built a 22' Steam Launch in his Garage, lol
Right another of my eviction Cards.......... This is what was left over from My last set of Sneak Peeks for MCS, firstly they are hard to photograph, being Mirri based, and printed on top, and secondly, Acetate can be a pain, especially in this weather, lol, Natural daylight being at a premium!
So this is using 2 of the bits I got sent, the Beautiful acetate, and one remaining topper. the topper was fixed to the acetate with DST, and then the Acetate was fixed to a Black Card base with some Rivets, okay, yes I am in a Riveting phase at the moment, but the are good for Fixing things without glue or DST showing. These Rivets are actually Friskars decorative Rivets, an assortment of snowflakes, Christmas trees, and Stars.

So thats it for now, as I am facing another short eviction, while some MORE shelves are added, lol

hope you'll pop back later, and see more, xx

Hugs

Lou
